This letter is just to ask you if you wanted to writewith me a play which ends halfway through: there is an apparently unscripted disturbance, the audience is asked to leave and, by way of apology are given copies of the script. When they leave they are to read the script to find out how it

ends.

Then she discovers that not only was the unscripted disturbance and ending of the play and the passing out of scripts scripted, but the continuation of the play follows the audience member home where they now live and act and speak differently, as a result of having seen the play. The main character is called “You:”
